CodeTrendy is a curated discovery directory for newly launched startups, SaaS tools and indie products. Founders submit their website, every listing is screened by hand and organized by category, and each approved product gets its own permanent page with a link back to it. Listing is free, with an optional paid upgrade that goes live faster.

It also has a read-only MCP server at https://codetrendy.com/api/mcp (Streamable HTTP, no API key, no account), so Claude Code and other MCP clients can search the listings, read full listing profiles, find alternatives to a product and see what is trending. How it came together: the site is a Next.js App Router app (React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Prisma on Postgres) and it is built with Claude Code. Claude Code agents work in the repo from a CLAUDE.md that holds the project rules (design, accessibility, security of the client/server boundary, SEO, migrations only for database changes), and hundreds of the commits are co-authored by Claude Code.
